It takes a big heart to endure the tragedy of the war that in a moment erases what is built in reality and in the soul.

It takes a big heart to see the suffering of the children you have cared for and who have been forced to observe the offended, humiliated, raped and reduced slavery mothers.

It takes a big heart to put the past, this past, among memories and try to live the future, but always with others as a goal.

This is acknowledged by the thousands and thousands of Kosovar women who in you, not only had a first aid and a first opportunity to rethink tomorrow, but the symbol of an identity, then raped and today found again.

Welcome courageous representative of a wounded land, which tenaciously tries to return to a daily life in which a normality, like ours, is exceptional.

Welcome, Mrs. Ambassador, daughter of hope and confidence in tomorrow.
