A silent revolution is what women are leading in the world of scientific research. A revolution that Adriana Albini has been helping to foster for years so that the world of science itself can legitimize what is already under everyone’s eyes: research and study are gender-neutral; and neither do the desire to improve the lives of others or the desire to leave to humanity a wealth of knowledge and discoveries that will enable it to fight even the most insidious enemies. Taking sides with public health was an obvious choice for Adriana, dictated by her educational path and her own scientific interests. Molecular biology, angiogenesis, and the study of learning how to remove tumors are fields along which she is moving with dexterity, working hard to always be one step ahead of the pain she wants to defeat. Adriana is a mother, a sportswoman, a scientist, a promoter of equal research. A woman who knows where she’s going and how to drive the change.
