Violence has a thousand faces. Some difficult to recognise, but so alienating as to leave no escape. Harassment as fearsome as beatings: like those suffered by Grazia Biondi for nine interminable years, deviously inflicted by those who had those who had promised to love and respect her. But a broken wing does not forget her aptitude for flight nor her innate desire for freedom. A freedom that, for many women, also means economic independence and financial literacy. Because domestic violence is a monster that feeds on loneliness. To annihilate it we must recognise ourselves among survivors, to unite and support each other in a battle studded with obstacles and injustice. In a world where those who are too tenacious cannot consider themselves victim, Grace has understood it: those who emerge from the abyss can become an anchor of salvation. For herself and for many other women. So that, for each of them, there is always the possibility of writing a different ending.
